Welcome to BitarNet. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms "BitarNet", "we", "us", and "our" refer to BitarNet.

BitarNet operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, products, services, features, and tools available to users. Our website is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide products and services through our online platform.

By visiting our website, purchasing products, subscribing to services, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

SECTION 1 - ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By using our Services, you represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have obtained appropriate consent from a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account, placing orders, requesting services, or communicating with us.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

BitarNet reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

SECTION 2 - OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Residential DSL Internet Services
Business Internet Services
Dedicated Internet Services
Technical Services
Networking Equipment
Routers
Modems
Optical Network Terminals (ONTs)
Switches
Wireless Access Points
Accessories and Related Hardware

Product specifications, availability, pricing, and service offerings may change without notice.

Internet service availability depends on technical feasibility, infrastructure availability, geographic coverage, and approval requirements where applicable.

Advertised internet speeds represent maximum achievable speeds under normal operating conditions. Actual speeds may vary depending on network conditions, customer equipment, Wi-Fi performance, destination servers, and other factors outside BitarNet's control.

SECTION 3 - ORDERS AND SERVICE ACTIVATION

Any order placed through our website constitutes an offer to purchase products or subscribe to services.

BitarNet reserves the right to accept, reject, delay, modify, or cancel any order or service request for technical, operational, legal, or commercial reasons.

Service activation remains subject to technical verification, infrastructure readiness, payment verification, and installation requirements.

SECTION 4 - PRICES AND BILLING

All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice.

Internet services are generally billed monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

Failure to pay invoices by the due date may result in suspension or termination of service without notice.

Reconnection fees may apply following suspension due to non-payment.

Installation fees, activation fees, setup fees, labor charges, and service charges are non-refundable once work has commenced or services have been activated.

SECTION 5 - FIBER OPTIC SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

Fiber Optic Internet services provided by BitarNet may utilize infrastructure operated by the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications and/or OGERO.

Fiber service installation is subject to:

Availability of an operational fiber box within the building.
Technical feasibility verification.
Infrastructure readiness.
Any required approvals from relevant authorities.

A valid landline number is required for fiber service activation.

Customers who do not currently possess a landline number may request assistance from BitarNet in obtaining one.

Any fees, subscriptions, taxes, recurring charges, or other costs associated with the landline service remain the sole responsibility of the customer and shall be paid directly to OGERO.

BitarNet shall not be responsible for OGERO pricing changes, service interruptions, delays, approvals, or administrative procedures.

SECTION 6 - FIBER EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION

The fiber installation package may include:

Optical Network Terminal (ONT)
Fiber optic cable
Installation labor
Service activation
Configuration and testing
Associated installation materials

Current package pricing:

Nokia ONT Package: USD 120
Zhone ONT Package: USD 150

Pricing may change for future installations at BitarNet's discretion.

SECTION 7 - FIBER COMMITMENT PROGRAM

Customers may choose one of the following payment methods:

Option A - Full Payment

The applicable equipment and installation charge is paid in full at installation.

Option B - Installment Plan

The applicable equipment and installation charge is paid through monthly installments approved by BitarNet.

Option C - Twenty-Four Month Commitment Program

No upfront equipment or installation charge is required, provided the customer remains subscribed to BitarNet Fiber Internet service for twenty-four (24) consecutive months.

If service is terminated before completion of the twenty-four-month commitment period, the customer shall immediately pay:

USD 120 for Nokia installations.
USD 150 for Zhone installations.

The equipment and installation charge includes:

Fiber optic cable
ONT/Modem
Installation labor
Configuration
Service activation

Upon completion of twenty-four (24) consecutive months of active service, ownership of the installed equipment transfers to the customer.

SECTION 8 - REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND CANCELLATIONS

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Except where required by applicable law, BitarNet does not provide refunds, returns, exchanges, credits, reimbursements, or partial refunds for:

Internet services
Fiber services
DSL services
Business services
Dedicated internet services
Installation services
Activation fees
Technical services
Labor charges
Networking equipment
Routers
Modems
ONTs
Switches
Access points
Accessories
Software licenses
Any other products or services sold by BitarNet

Customers are responsible for reviewing service details, specifications, pricing, and requirements before purchasing.

Cancellation of service does not entitle the customer to any refund or reimbursement of amounts previously paid.

A service cancellation fee may apply upon termination of service.

Any outstanding balances, commitment obligations, equipment charges, cancellation fees, and other amounts owed to BitarNet become immediately due upon cancellation.

SECTION 9 - ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Customers agree not to use BitarNet services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious software.
Send unsolicited bulk communications or spam.
Conduct phishing, fraud, or identity theft.
Access systems without authorization.
Interfere with network operations.
Resell services without written authorization.
Engage in copyright infringement or illegal content distribution.

BitarNet reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for violations of this policy.

SECTION 10 - FAIR USAGE POLICY

Unlimited packages remain subject to reasonable network management practices.

BitarNet reserves the right to implement traffic management measures where usage negatively impacts network performance, security, stability, or the experience of other customers.

SECTION 11 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, trademarks, logos, graphics, software, text, designs, and materials available through our Services are owned by BitarNet or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or exploited without prior written permission.

SECTION 12 - OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools and services. Such tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Use of third-party tools is at the user's own risk.

SECTION 13 - THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or resources.

BitarNet is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party websites.

SECTION 14 - RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

BitarNet is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our Services.

However, all purchases and transactions are made directly with BitarNet.

Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of products, services, installations, subscriptions, support, or transactions conducted by BitarNet.

SECTION 15 - PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information collected through our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

SECTION 16 - TERMINATION

BitarNet may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Services at any time for:

Non-payment.
Violation of these Terms.
Fraudulent activity.
Illegal activity.
Network abuse.
Security concerns.

Termination does not relieve customers of any outstanding payment obligations.

SECTION 17 - DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Services and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

BitarNet makes no guarantee that Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, express or implied, are disclaimed.

SECTION 18 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BitarNet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or service interruptions.

BitarNet's maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the affected service during the month preceding the claim.

SECTION 19 - INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BitarNet, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

SECTION 20 - SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 21 - ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between BitarNet and the customer.
